Openfit is a new digital streaming platform focused on fitness, nutrition and wellness. Personally I LOVE working out at home. I used to do barre in the studio but it took up about two hours of my day each and every time. I work from home so walking down to my workout room or my living room is a heck of a lot faster and easier. I actually work out more now that I can do it from home.
Why I Like Openfit
First of all, there are so many class options! They have Xtend Barre, T-Minus 30, Rough Around the Edges, Yoga52 and 600 Secs. There is a workout to suit every mood and every fitness level. I like to switch them up so I get a nice mix of cardio and strength training. AND each day they offer tons of live classes that are available in the app. I love mixing those in too because you really see that you are part of a greater community of fitness enthusiasts.
Xtend Barre
This barre class was created by Andrea Rogers and it's a combo of barre, pilates, and some dance. Don't worry there are no tricky dance moves and you leave feeling like you've had a great workout and elongated your muscles. This is my favorite class of the bunch.
T-Minus 30
This workout is for those training for tough mudders but could be a good workout for anyone. All these are 30 minutes or less.
Rough Around the Edges
This is a fat-burning workout taught by professional stuntwomen, athletes and martial artists. It is a hard workout but the instructors are so motivating!
600 Seconds
This is so awesome! If you are crunched for time you can do these 10-minute workouts that pack a powerful punch. They incorporate cardio, weights and strength training. Now you have no excuse not to get your workout in!
The Nutrition Component
As if the workouts aren't enough, there is a nutrition component. You can plan and track your healthy meals with their easy to use app. When you pick your meals you can then create a grocery list from those recipes you chose.
Could it be any easier? There is advice about what to eat and tons of wholesome recipes to keep you fueled properly for your workouts. There is even a program that helps you go sugar-free in three weeks.
