Apple Crisp - Gluten Free

Ingredients

  • 5-6 apples I prefer Honeycrisp, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup gluten free quick cooking oats I used Bob's Red Mill
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ almond flour I used Honeyville
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick cold butter cut into cubes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 °. Grease or spray an 8 x 8 baking dish.
  • Put sliced apples into the pan.
  • In a bowl stir the oats, sugar, almond flour and cinnamon.
  • Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture with your hands until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Top apples with flour mixture.
  • Bake for 35-45 min. until topping gets golden.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
