Garlic and Ginger Salmon

I love how the ginger and garlic seep deep into the buttery-tender salmon flesh. You can load the salmon with fresh cilantro or a crunchy nut topping, or have it just as is.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets 6oz each
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon dijon
  • Good pinch of salt + pepper

For Serving

  • Optional extras 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon Sriracha, 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • Chives or spring onions finely sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat the Airfryer to 400F / 200C or the oven.
  • Mix the olive oil, toasted sesame oil, ginger, garlic, lime, dijon, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Add any other extras you like too
  • Brush salmon with half the dressing.
  • Spray aire fryer basket with olive oil oil.
  • Cook salmon in the air fryer for 7 - 9 mins, or until cooked through. Cooking times will vary slightly depending on on how thick your fillets are.
  • Serve sesame seeds, spring onions or chives, the rest of the dressing and your chosen side.
