Blackberry Vodka Mojito

Blackberries, mint, and lime muddled and shaken with vodka, then topped with seltzer. Ready in 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 blackberries
  • 4-6 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or 1 teaspoon simple syrup
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 2 oz vodka I use Tito's
  • ice
  • seltzer lime flavored or regular
  • mint and lime or lemon for garnish

Instructions

  • Put the blackberries, mint and sugar in the bottom of a glass.
  • Muddle with the back of a wooden spoon or a muddler.
  • Add the lime juice, vodka and ice. Put in a cocktail shaker and shake or stir well.
  • Top off with seltzer.
  • Garnish with mint and lime.

Notes

Leftovers (without ice or seltzer) keep in a covered jar in the fridge for about a day. Shake before pouring.
For 8 drinks, use 32 blackberries, 32 to 48 mint leaves, 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons sugar, the juice of 8 limes, and 2 cups vodka.
