Hot Cocoa Donuts

How delicious do these Hot Cocoa Donuts look? They are perfectly light, sweet, and loaded with a rich chocolate glaze. Make some hot chocolate and dunk and dip these babies right in.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ cup Hot Cocoa Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • ¾ cup Chocolate Milk
  • 2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • Dehydrated Marshmallows

Instructions

  • Start by whisking together your flour, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa mix together.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together your butter and sugar, add in your eggs and vanilla. Beat until well combined.
  • Start adding your wet ingredients to your dry ingredients. Followed by your chocolate milk. Mix until all ingredients are added together and well combined.
  • Pour batter into a piping bag, cut off the top. Spray your donut pan with your cooking spray, and pipe batter into each well.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Don’t overbake, they will be dry! Let cool.
  • Place your chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in one mine intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
  • Pour into a piping bag and pipe onto the top of each cooled donut. Top with dehydrated marshmallows.
  • Serve them up with some hot chocolate and enjoy! The perfect Christmas morning donut!
