Energy drinks help keep people going through the day or on a long drive. That’s because they’re packed with caffeine and other ingredients that provide energy that sometimes lasts a long time. Here are the ten most caffeinated energy drinks. Note that they are ranked purely by caffeine content, not content per fluid ounce.
Hyde Extreme
A pre-workout solution that succeeded Hyde Power Potion, this drink comes in 3 different flavors. With 400 mg of caffeine per 12-ounce serving, it’s one of the most highly caffeinated supplements you can buy. For comparison, consider that a 12-ounce can of Coca-Cola has 34 mg of caffeine.
BreinFuel
This is another fitness/energy supplement designed to boost performance and physical and mental endurance. A 12-ounce bottle has 360 mg of caffeine in it.
Spike Hardcore Energy
This drink comes in 16-ounce cans that contain 350 mg of caffeine each. Ounce-for-ounce, it’s slightly less caffeinated than the previous two on this list, but it’s still a lot of caffeine in one serving.
Wired X344 Energy Drink
With this 16-ounce can, you’ll get 344 mg of caffeine, again still less per ounce than #1 and #2 here, but still a huge amount. Not many retailers carry this drink, so it can be hard to find.
Loud Energy Drink
This pre-workout supplement made by Stance Supplements is only sold at Nutrishop stores. It comes in a 16-ounce can and has 320 mg of caffeine.
Redline Xtreme Energy Drink
Targeted to bodybuilders and gym workouts, this is one of the most aptly named energy drinks out there. That’s because each 8-ounce bottle contains 316 mg of caffeine. If it were a 12-ounce bottle like Hyde Extreme, it would easily top this list at 474 mg of caffeine. The recommended serving size is 4 ounces.
Adrenaline Shoc
Like so many other high-caffeine energy drinks, this is intended for pre-workout use, and its 16-ounce cans have 300 mg of caffeine per can. Green coffee beans, yerba mate, coffee fruit extract, and guarana are the sources of this drink’s caffeine.
Bang Energy
This offering from Bang delivers 300 mg of caffeine in a 16-ounce bottle, and it’s another workout-oriented energy drink not intended for your drive to work. If you want to amp it up, you can get the Bang Shot, a 3-ounce bottle with 300 mg of caffeine. So, correction: if it were in a 12-ounce bottle, it would have 1,200 mg of caffeine and blow away Hyde Extreme!
Bucked Up
You don’t have to be a nuclear physicist to see what they’re doing with this name. A 16-ounce can has 300 mg of caffeine. A wide variety of flavors are available.
C4 Ultimate Energy Drink
Sugar-free and containing 300 mg of caffeine in a 16-ounce can; this drink is a sports-oriented energy supplement. After C4, 12 other energy drinks come in at 300 mg per bottle or can, and you can check them all out and the complete list here.
