If not, you will soon. Why didn't I invent this app? It's taking the kid world by storm and mine are obsessed. In fact, we are having some serious arguments about how to get our electronic time under control. In this app, kids take videos of themselves lip syncing, dancing and doing short videos. It's a video community meaning you have a profile and your friends can like you and make comments.
So is Musical.ly safe? Well, I think yes if you keep your profile private and you trust your kid's friends. That way only the chosen followers can comment. Otherwise, you may get some racy comments from strangers. Not to mention, you want to make sure that if your profile is not private, your kids know to never share any personal information!
The other issue with Musical.ly is the content. There is plenty of bad language and sexual content, meaning girls in inappropriate outfits and songs with bad language. Your kids can search any video so there isn't much you can do about that. That's why it's rated 12+.

Blackberry Cobbler Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 pint blackberries
- 1 ½ cups almond or coconut milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- ½ cup gluten free oats (I use Bob's Red Mill)
- 3-4 pieces of ice
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in blender and blitz for a minute. Taste and check consistency. Add more milk to make it thinner and more ice for thickness.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with sliced almonds, oats, and blackberries.
