This Mocha Chocolate Smoothie is loaded with everything you need for breakfast to keep you full until lunch. AND it tastes like chocolate ice cream. Thick and creamy goodness! {gluten free}
Breakfast doesn't have to be boring. Smoothies are a great way to add some fun into your morning and fill you all up with so much goodness. This Mocha Chocolate Smoothie is like breakfast in a glass.
This smoothie is so thick it's more like chocolate nice cream. It's made with frozen bananas and it creates a super thick smoothie or smoothie bowl. Smoothie bowls are great when you want to add a bunch of toppings and eat your smoothie with a spoon. They need to be thick to suspend the toppings like this one is.
If you prefer you can eat this Mocha Chocolate Smoothie as a bowl and add all the toppings like chocolate chips, banana slices, berries, sliced almonds, granola, and cocoa nibs.
To get those swirly chocolate streaks I melted chocolate chips in the microwave then I swirled them on the side of the glass before I added the smoothie. So pretty!
