Frozen cauliflower and frozen rice cauliflower are readily available now at your local market, so get your hands on some and pack those smoothies! I keep riced cauliflower in my freezer and have even used it for make-ahead smoothie packs.

If you prefer to make your own riced cauliflower you can do it in a few easy steps but remember you can use any frozen cauliflower in these smoothies. It doesn't have to be riced cauliflower.
- Wash the raw cauliflower florets.
- Cut into smaller pieces, including stems
- Place in a food processor and pulse gently until it starts to look like rice. Be careful not to pulse too much because it can get mushy quickly.
- From there you can place into freezer bags for use in these smoothies or you can make full smoothie bags with all the smoothie ingredients into one bag. So easy to grab on the run. Perfect meal prep.

How do you Freeze Cauliflower for Smoothies?
It's so simple, just wash your cauliflower and cut it into florets. Lay the cauliflower on a sheet pan and freeze it for a few hours. This ensures that each piece is frozen and it won't all come out in one clump. Place portions into freezer bags and freeze again. You can also go ahead and add the berries or bananas and make smoothie freezer packs.
Frequently Asked Questions about Cauliflower Smoothies
- Does cauliflower taste good in smoothies? Well, as far as I can tell you can't even taste it. It adds so much nutritional value and gives it a beautiful creamy texture and that's why I like to add it.
- Why do people put cauliflower in smoothies? Nutritional value.
- Can you make a cauliflower smoothie that is keto? Yes but you have to watch all the other fruit you put in it. Use a handful of berries but not the higher-carb fruits like pineapple. Then add a protein like a collagen powder and some healthy fats like natural almond butter. Cauliflower is a great replacement for banana in smoothies.
